The assault resulted in the partial closure of the CTA tunnel and the T3 parking area.

An additional two individuals have been arrested related to a theft at Heathrow Airport in which 21 people were injured by a substance believed to be pepper spray, according to law enforcement.

A man, 24, was arrested in the Lambeth area on suspicion of robbery and assault and a woman, 23 was detained on suspicion of conspiracy to commit robbery. They both remain in custody, authorities confirmed.

The arrests come after an investigation into an assault at the multi-storey car park at Terminal 3 on Sunday. Before the incident, two women had stolen from them their luggage after getting out of a car park lift.

A three-year-old girl was among the those hurt during the incident. Five people went to hospital for treatment and have since been discharged.

Police arrested a man in his thirties on suspicion of robbery and assault near the scene. He was subsequently released under investigation as the investigation proceeds.

Police were alerted at approximately 08:10 GMT following reports of a number of people injured by an irritating chemical thought to be pepper spray.

The attack - which authorities stated was a standalone incident and not being treated as terrorism - resulted in train delays and the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park briefly.
