The new appointee steps into the role of studio head at 31st Union following the departure of former leader Michael Condrey, who was reportedly let go due to the game's underwhelming initial reveal last autumn.
Recently, 2K president a key figure informed team members about this strategic move through an official communication, which emphasized that playtesting had indicated the need for a more defined direction.
Ismailer expressed that the team is now reimagining Project Ethos with a revised approach, aiming to better meet gamer demands.

This announcement mirrors a similar step taken by the publisher in August, when they recruited Rod Fergusson from Blizzard to assist with the BioShock development group.

Brinkman currently serves in the position of senior developer and production lead at the renowned studio for Apex Legends.
